Fabric has arrived!
OH MY GOD YES I CAN FINALLY START ON THE COSPLAY!
This is a custom fabric because of course you can't just walk into the store and be able to find this :B But yes now I can get started for real! I had to be sad just cutting out the dress pattern and not being able to do anything with it ahaha. I was also able to return the blue fabric and get purple. I'm starting to think it's too dark OTL Or maybe it's just the lights of my house cause it was okay when I bought it at the store. (I even brought the original England picture on my phone to make sure lmfao)
I've come to the realization cosplay is super damn expensive, more so than I originally thought. It would have been cheaper if I didn't have to get custom fabric OTL But I mean the dress and little extras I will buy later and the wig...... oh my god......
I could have started cutting with the purple buuuut school got in the way and I just now have gotten used to the workload and managing myself. P: I'm trying to get to the point where I am working ahead by one class, but I doubt that will happen pffft. Man I get so scared each time I post my homework and start the next class and stuff. My first homework was a C, so it's decent enough but I know I can do better ahaha "orz Although the teacher did say himself that the class is very difficult already.
Anyways, I learned that I am never going to take a drawing class online ever again unless I get to hear from someone else who has already taken it tell me how difficult it is. -_-
My storytelling class on the other hand is really fun and easy and I am actually enjoying it! 8D It's forcing me to explore my OCs that are not DANJ hahaha. I managed to flesh out one of my old OCs that I've been trying to get a clearer grasp of for a long time now. There's this character worksheet thingy that asks really good questions! I'd be willing to share it if anyone wants it. Though there's one question about toothpaste brand/flavor and I was just... "Why is this important to know?" Haha.
If you ever tried to look up characterization worksheet thingies on DA before though, it's pretty much the same but shorter? The really good ones I've seen are always so extremely long!
I also have a drawing :] I hope the pink isn't blinding OTL I had drawn it last night with the lights off and laptop light all the way down and the next day I was like OH, BRIGHT.
This is random but I discovered that fake lip rings exist, so now Dusty has a fake one and that's why it appears and disappears in drawings. xD But... if you google them they look uncomfortable...
On the other hand, I am drawing a picture of America and Canada \o/
But I want to draw fanart again :'D So I'll just start slowly.

Oh I know getting your clothes done by a tailor is kinda expensive so I supposed making your own clothes would help you spend less money but now that you mention all the things that you have to buy...wow. ;v;
It's good to know you're enjoying one class at least. It looks like it's helping you a lot in developing the personality of yours OCs. Characterization might seem easy but actually you need to consider a lot of things, like imagining how a character might react to certain kinds of situations is little bit tricky (or I'm not being creative orz).

The other fabric is pretty cheap since I was able to just go to a fabric store... But yeah it's mostly because of this fabric and the wig. Everything else is pretty decently priced. Dx

But yeah, you have to wonder what they're making out of the pancake fabric (http://www.spoonflower.com/fabric/487590). I can see maybe an apron and that takes like one yard. The world is full of strange people.
Yeah, good wigs ain't cheap. It just takes some saving up. You're buying a dress on top of all that as well, or did I misread?

Oh man there's also a bacon fabric! All the weird fabrics I see the only thing I can imagine is apron, but that's still a bit strange. Ah well, let them do what they want. xD
Oh nono, I'm making the dress. The other stuff is just things like shoes and supplies to make some accessories.
