I was on some kind of drawing high last month, but now it's disappeared. D:

So, today I did some epic cleaning. I went into my parents room, lay down on the bed, and swept the whole room from there.
I usually clean better than that, haha. It was only possible because the bed is in the center of the room.

My Dad is teaching me how to drive. I drive around the school parking lot across my house, and around the corner is the park. Well I freaked out driving to the park, because for the past two days or so I've only been derping around the parking lot and not in actual traffic. Also because I'm not really supposed to be driving because I'm not in driving school nor do I have a permit.
Apparently, in Texas you're required to go to driving school unless you're over 25. My parents don't want to pay for that, especially since I'm going to move to another state anyways, where they likely don't have such a law/rule/whatever.

But holy crap, 25? In Michigan, the age is 18, and at that point you can just take the test - 25 is just absurd!

Ooh sure, I'll definitely do that! :D Every week is fine by me, or do you want to make it twice a week?

25 is absurd! Apparently it's because of the crash and accident rates, but I still think it should be lower than 25.

I can make it once a week right now, anyway! Probably by the end of Friday every week, how does that sound?

Are the rates really that bad there? I think we have curfews for teenage drivers here, but that's if they're already licensed and all, but I'm not sure how much it helps the crash rates. But man, if you can pass the driving test, isn't that supposed to be... y'know... the test to see if you can drive safely? Man. D:

I don't know the exact rates, I was just told it was higher than average. (Or I just can't remember, haha) Man, I really have no idea. I guess they don't think parents can teach well enough? If you pass the test... I'm sure it doesn't matter if you went to school or not, cause you can drive safely, obviously.

We could PM requests/characters/themes, yeah! I've also been kind of neglecting dailyprompt (http://dailyprompt.dreamwidth.org/)'s suggestions even though it's on my dreamwidth reading page every day, and they post summaries of the week's prompts every Sunday. These could be for any characters or anything we wanted, whichever prompt of the week jumps out at you.

I just can't believe you can buy a house and drink and gamble and get a hotel room and ALL THAT OTHER STUFF when you're 24, but not drive without school.
