Why am I suddenly lurking the event

I'm just not feeling it this year >>;;;

Since some of you guys aren't on deviantart, here's the secret santa I was working on:

I had problems with the lighting D8 Especially on the face, I had to use myself as reference for the lighting and it still didn't come out all that great xDDD
First time properly drawing Sealand and Latvia, happy with how they came out! Just not too happy about the shading on the face OTL

Me and my friends were talking about if the DANJ guys were cats

My cat drawing skills are the best ever

ALSO I FINALLY GET TO SEE MY BEST FRIEND TOMORROW/TODAY YES.
The sad thing is I've seen all my other friends around town, but the one person I haven't bumped into is my wifey D;

NOW TO HAVE DRAWING SPREES AND VIDEO GAMES. WHICH TO DO FIRST, DECISIONS.

I'm sorry I haven't seen this on dA yet I've been all over maineventcomm and parts of CAPTALIA for four days straight and my brain's fixated on the event o_e

CAPTALIA isn't the same without you though ;A; I like, felt so left out and alone there because all my old buds weren't there. I liked being at maincomm because it had a sense of community and every-man-for-himself than little friend circles and all the memes and jokes on eventcomm were put onto one page so you could catch up ;_;

And again, you did amazingly on the shading and lighting, don't be so hard on yourself!

I think that's exactly the reason I'm not feeling it for the event this year, cause most of the people I knew aren't on CAPTALIA D: I feel like a lonely turtle lmao kinda like when I first delurked ._.
