Eeee I really need some practice with front views of the face o3o I've gotten the hang of 3/4 and side views to be somewhat consistent so now I need to work on this. I feel like it doesn't fit it when I combine it with other face views ._. Also Aliyah's hand is huge bahaha

So I like to believe that while everyone likes to tease Aliyah, Joe and Ace are really bad, especially together, and sometimes go too far when teasing her. Or maybe it's just me trying to ship things

Yeah Dusty actually has a lip ring, I just never draw it. Let's just say he takes it off alot? My friend always draws him with a lip ring xD

Lmao if any of my friends could write I'd tell them to write some hilarious bad fics with these guys.
I mean I guess I could do it myself but I don't have faith in my writing skills, even to do a purposely bad fic xD

I rather like your drawing of Aliyah :DD The front view's not that bad; her face is a little small, but overall it's really nice :) 3/4 views are so much easier >_< Since you don't have to make both eyes look exactly the same. Ah, have you tried using your own hand as a model for your drawings? If it's an awkward/uncomfortable position to hold it in for long periods of time, you can always take a picture of it with your cell phone :) 'Tis very helpful :D

Your friend's doodles are so cute~ Fanart, woo 8D Maybe you could try clothing that looks looser, more free and with lots of wrinkles to help convey that feel. It may help with the stiffness, partly because you're hiding it :DDD (It looks like it works for your friend and it works for me...)

The bit about Nicky and Ace being Spanish was interesting. I never knew they were Spanish O.o I just thought they had dark hair because it was just part of their character XDD

Yeah I like 3/4 views the best, especially cause they're so versatile and you can use them for nearly every pose ever.
Yeah I tend to use pictures of my own hand often, but I've been trying to break that habit. For just random doodles like this I don't care too much, but for an actual finished drawing I will have a reference xD

Maybe, but I don't like drawing loose clothing hahaha
Yeah cause I don't really care about race/nationality all too much. They're all dark-haired because of their race though o3o

Well, it's good that you're trying to work on hand anatomy! :DD But until you master them, references are very good 8D (I admit that I used my hands as references for the page of hand practice I posted awhile back X'DDD)

You don't like loose clothing? :( I actually think drawing all the wrinkles and stuff is kind of fun, plus all the ripples and folds cover up failed anatomy XD But everyone has their preferences, huh? :)

I love wrinkles, but for some reason loose clothing just isn't my thing? xDDD Lmfao true that it covers up failed anatomy though~

I also need to practice with front views of the face. I don't really draw that pose, especially because of the nose, I don't know how to do noses like that. :/

Oh your friend's drawings are really good. My favorite is the third one. And Aliyah doesn't look tsundere at all, she seems pretty nice and friendly. x3

Yeah same! I have no idea what to do with the nose D: I don't like how I draw them now but I can't come up with another way that I like.

Hmm, I think the eye's a bit big in the front view, but it's not bad! I really like it! Another thing I noticed is that your heads and necks are a little larger than the bodies. Side views are easy and fun, I totally have to agree, especially since you don't have to worry about symmetry on both sides of the face aaaah

Hmm I have that problem with heads Dx My teacher has told me that too haha I can never get the perfect size! I also have anime anatomy really ingrained in my mind that's hard to get rid of xDDDD
