+3 doodles and a park

I can't seem to focus on my homework long enough, so I'm gonna post pictures. :/

Bleh
I should play with expressions more.

The other day we were discussing Joe and Aliyah's relationship together, cause I've actually never thought of it in detail before. We ended up discussing their break up ololol so I went to draw fluff to even out sad feels.
I cannot draw fluff though OTL
And Aliyah's not that short, they were sitting but the bottom half looked terrible so I erased it. And the other one is a Just Be Friends reference

SO THIS PARK IS SO COOL. It's the Golden Gate park and OMGAAAH.
I absolutely love parks, and this one looks kinda like a forest so I WAS IN LOVE. I mean you go in there and you don't even feel like you're in the city anymore! And it's super huge. I didn't get to see half of it haha. I was so excited I took my friends on the dirt paths up and down hills and stuff running around like crazy. xDDDD She might have picture of the inside of the trees since she was taking pictures of me running around o3o

We went on the row boat and that was a really interesting experience. None of us have done it before and we had hilarious moments of trying not to run into the bushes or rocks or other people xD And trying to switch places on the boat while trying to not tip over was fun pahaha!
And then that field? Dude that field is soooooooo huge. I wanted to roll around in it but the grass was kinda damp. |D

This park is the one with the Japanese Tea Garden I had gone to a couple months ago. This is just the actual park part xD Maaan I need to go back here again and have more adventures running around trees and stuff.
Apparently they have coyotes? I saw a sign warning about them. And then I lost my friend as she ran off into the trees aha...

And then I also explored the Castro, which is the LGBT neighborhood. Well we didn't really explore much. We just went up and down this one street and it was cold and raining and we're not sure why we went out that day. xD
We found this one rental shop, with a huge porn section in the back. We're curious so we go ahead and go in there xD It was quite interesting o3o It was all gay porn and... Oh god I have never seen so much porn in my life at once lmfao
Some of the titles make me laugh. I suppose all porn have terrible titles? And then there's titles with bad puns on them... I was really amused by how they arranged them. It was ordered mostly by company, and then there was a section by ethnicity, and another section by kinks ._.
I think that was the highlight of our trip to Castro OTL

Oh we also went into a bookshop and took some free condoms from the condom box. xDDDDD I don't need them, but I have to say it's actually something I've always wanted to do, take a free condom. Why, I don't know. It was also in a rainbow wrapper. I like rainbows. Even though I know why it's a rainbow wrapper

I had also gone to Kinokuniya that day in hopes of buying another hetalia rubber strap but no they had none at all D': My Austria is forever alone.
They did have tons of Madoka Magica things though. I also thought of buying Chibi-San Date but I dunno.... I wouldn't be able to read it and I don't exactly have time to scan it in o3o I wish I could find a place that sold doujins
And I also ate a chocolate taiyaki. It was so cute and tiny and really delicious xDDDD

Now I will roll off and see if I can focus on my homework >_<;;

That's the weirdest duck I have ever seen in my life. ._.

The park is so pretty! There's something about parks (or nature in general) that eases my mind. Like they can make you feel like you have nothing to worry about? So relaxing~.

Oh do all rental shops have a porn section? I've never actually noticed! Whenever I visit one I just like, look for the movie I want really quickly and that's it. That experience is definitely an interesting one though. xD

[identity profile] pinaki93.livejournal.com 2012-04-17 05:57 am (UTC)(link)
It is! ._.;;

Ahhh same. I can just completely forget everything and relax. While there I didn't worry about homework or school one bit xD

I would think not? I'm sure this rental shop specializes in it or something though because the regular movie collection was very very small.

DAT DUCK. //stares at the... bizarre-ness.../

And that park!! Is awesome!!!!!!!! It looks so pretty :DDD And the fact that it also had that pretty Japanese tea garden and it has that lake and those trees and that ginormous field and now I must go visit SF just to see the park... (And ride a trolley!!! 8D) It sounds like you had lots of fun there XDDD

That porn section over in Castro sounds... interesting XD Never seen a porn section. Don't hope to. And gay porn, bleh XP (We have doujinshi for that~!!)

BWAHAHAHAHAHA free condoms???? XDDDD That's hilarious!!!!!!! I've never even seen one, let alone in a public place like a bookstore? XD Well... As long as it's in a prettyful rainbow wrapper, it's all good, right? :)

No Hetalia straps?????? DDD': That's so sad!!! Poor Austria; he needs a Hungary...

Ahh, they had Chibi-san Date~??? (That series is so freaking adorable dhgdnblvh but the scanlators never update the thing :'[[[[[[) And doujins... They should sell those :( They could make so much money off of those XDDDD

You had taiyaki??????? It sounds so tasty XO

[identity profile] pinaki93.livejournal.com 2012-04-21 03:31 am (UTC)(link)
Oh god yes the park is absolutely gorgeous xD
I still haven't rode the trolley! It's expensive and it doesn't take me where I need to go lolol

Pffft, we came across it by accident. And yeah doujins are much prettier to look at xD
Well it wasn't exactly a bookstore you'd bring kids to bahaha.

Baaah I know! I've been looking for a Hungary strap for a while.

akjsgne yes the series is just way too cute! But I suppose they don't have enough scans?
And oh god if they did sell doujins I'd be broke. xDDDD

Oh it is! If you ever get the chance to try one you definitely should 8D

[identity profile] fujyoshi73.livejournal.com 2012-04-27 05:13 am (UTC)(link)
I can tell :DDD So many trees~~

Ahaha, aww :( You must ride it sometime for me, haha X'DD It looks like it'd be really fun to try on a weekend where maaaaaaaybe you can afford to sacrifice some time? 'Cause I know you NEVER have homework XD <-- sarcasm

Haha, I would hope you guys weren't planning on visiting on purpose XDDD Scary O.o Ahhhh, makes sense. Sounds like a scary bookstore D8 Corrupting what little innocence kids have left these days XD

You should so order a Hungary strap next time someone's selling them or doing a group order or something~ Except... Cuteness can be expensive :(

Yeah, it could be that they don't have enough scans... And since the chapters are so short, the scanlators might not think the magazine is worth the money ._.'

Oh, noes D: Maybe it's good they don't sell doujins, then? XD

8DDD Next time I go to the oriental food store with my mom, I shall go hunt down some taiyaki~ Ooh! I asked my grandmother about taiyaki, and apparently "tai" means "codfish" and "yaki" is the yumminess it's filled with XD I just thought that was interesting. (Makes it sound even tastier, too... Fish and chocolate... XP)

[identity profile] pinaki93.livejournal.com 2012-04-27 05:33 am (UTC)(link)
It tends to be full of tourists (especially the weekend bahaha) and I don't really like tourists all that much? There's just something about them. >>;;

Haha it's not that bad! They just don't have a kids section and it's all adult books (both the normal kind and well the explicit kind...)

Actually I did order a Hungary strap the other day xD Ended up being as much as it would be if I went to get it in the store, only I actually know what I'm getting since at the store it's all random.

I remember seeing photos of it on their comm but I haven't seen any actual scans. D:

Oh yes definitely good. I'd be kind of embarrassed to go buy a doujin maybe... But the fangirl in me will make me buy it >D

Oh cool! Yeah they have all different kinds, I just had the chocolate one xD

[identity profile] fujyoshi73.livejournal.com 2012-04-28 10:35 pm (UTC)(link)
Ahh, tourists ^^' I guess it'd make sense that you don't like them; they can probably get kind of crazy and annoying sometimes XD

Hmmmmmm... I still find that a bit suspicious ;)

At least you know it's a Hungary strap :DD

And yeah, I saw the LQ photos around somewhere... Scans would be nice, but I guess we have to take what we can get for now >.<;;

Come to think of it, it might be slightly embarrassing to buy a doujin... (The fact that the doujin is homosexual is a given X'D) But that doesn't matter because the purchase will be so worth it >8D I can't wait til I'm older so I can order some online and not have to let my dad see WHAT I'm ordering, haha XD

Gasp, they have more than just chocolate????? 8D THEY SOUND EVEN BETTER SFINNONHH

[identity profile] pinaki93.livejournal.com 2012-04-28 11:29 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm not sure, there's just something about them I don't particularly like xD They're not really crazy haha, though I have seen some of those.

It would be embarrassing to buy a 18+ doujin! Regular doujins are fine but say if it had an explicit image as the cover, now that's embarrassing!
Ahhh the wonders of being 18 xDDD

I can't remember what the others were hahaha. But yes! \o/

[identity profile] fujyoshi73.livejournal.com 2012-04-28 11:56 pm (UTC)(link)
It probably depends on what regular doujin it is XD Like some of the Spamano ones are very obviously shounen-ai and I know my mom would freak even if my dad didn't question it X'DD But oh, gosh, an 18+ one... would be even worse O.o' Especially if it has a super-graphic cover like you said. Scary D8

Yes, 18 does sound nice XDD (I still have a year and a half, boo -_-)

[identity profile] pinaki93.livejournal.com 2012-04-29 12:29 am (UTC)(link)
Ah true haha! My Dad never sees my books but my Mom might want to read it OTL (she likes anime/manga) So I'd have to hide it away!

Soon, you will be 18! \o/

[identity profile] fujyoshi73.livejournal.com 2012-04-29 01:54 am (UTC)(link)
Haha, my mom doesn't like manga XDDD It sounds like having an otaku (fujoshi?) mom might be fun/interesting, but kind of a burden at the same time ^^'

Yes, it won't be too much longer~!! Then I can finally go to college and leave the state~ (~_*)b Sounds like fun :)

[identity profile] pinaki93.livejournal.com 2012-04-29 02:43 am (UTC)(link)
It's a good thing, she'll never hate that I watch anime, but she'll also be really interested in everything I watch/read and Hetalia is the one thing I've kept away from her xD Especially since the dub is kinda crazy and she'll only watch the dub :I

It's gonna be a really exciting experience, leaving the state~

[identity profile] fujyoshi73.livejournal.com 2012-04-29 02:51 am (UTC)(link)
Haha, it's good that you're keeping her from Hetalia XD 'Cause the dub is very crazy, indeed... The original Japanese is much more adorable, but the dub has me laughing my butt off X'D But it's still insane ._.

Leaving the staaaaaate (「゚ ヮ゚)「

[identity profile] pinaki93.livejournal.com 2012-04-29 07:21 pm (UTC)(link)
I do like the dub at times but I think most of the jokes would go over her head D: And she'd probably ask me to explain it OTL
And then she would recognize the characters which I practically have all over the place and she would wonder why I love it so much xDDDD

So are you just leaving the state or the country too? o3o

[identity profile] fujyoshi73.livejournal.com 2012-05-08 01:24 am (UTC)(link)
O-oh... Some of those jokes might be a liiiiitle awkward to explain to your mom X'DDD

Wouldn't understand?? D: Who wouldn't love Austria and Hungary rubber straps lying around~? (Actually, sometime I question why I like Hetalia so much because the art's not exceptionally great or anything... But it's just so cute and funny? XD)

I'm not sure what I want to do just yet ._. I'm leaving the state because I want to get away and try someplace new XD (Like maybe some art college in Texas because they have a reasonable standard of living, haha. Plus that's where Alice lives. Haven't done any research, though ^^') Buuuuuut if there's an art college in Japan that will accept unilingual Americans, that might be pretty awesome XDD (RAMEN AND TAIYAKI AND MOCHI EVERYWHEEEEEERE *shot*)

[identity profile] pinaki93.livejournal.com 2012-05-09 12:16 am (UTC)(link)
Yes xDDD

I don't think she would understand it's not just a "like," it's a love and obsession xDDDD

Hmm Texas? I don't really think there's any art schools in texas besides one? I live in texas and... my choices were only that one school which is why I chose to go out of state instead. But yes the standard of living is pretty good compared to places like here in California where it's so dang expensive;;
But omg imagine all the perks of being able to study in Japan *A* All sorts of food! Manga and anime everywhere! Cheaper hetalia stuff because no import fees!

[identity profile] fujyoshi73.livejournal.com 2012-06-04 05:32 am (UTC)(link)
Ahh. Seems like parents just don't understand their kids no matter what their interests are, I guess? XD

Ooh, really? Man D: Pffft I don't know if I want to go to California then if it's so expensive >_<;;

Oh, yes! Whenever you choose a college, you must think about the food! Food is important!!!! X'DD Ramen and soba and taiyaki and sushi on conveyor belts~ And yes, cheap Hetalia stuff is always a plus :DDD

[identity profile] pinaki93.livejournal.com 2012-06-04 05:13 pm (UTC)(link)
More like I don't think she will understand fandom, haha.

I guess if you decide to go to California, hopefully you don't go to an expensive city?
Gaaaaah that's sound so good *A*

[identity profile] fujyoshi73.livejournal.com 2012-06-06 04:04 am (UTC)(link)
Ahhhhh, I see ^^'

Yeah, expensive cities don't sound very fun D:
